Day 1 |
Arriving to Lisbon, go to your accommodation and get comfortable. Depending on the time you arrive, Portugal B’side will suggest possible activities for you. Use this day to a personal desire or just to relax.

Day 2 | - -
In the morning get to know Lisbon city, very closely, in a guided gastronomic walking tour through the center, which will make your palate vibrate to the rhythm of this beautiful European capital. On this tour get to know the little spots that the average tourist don’t usually go.
After having lunch in Lisbon go to Sintra, one of the most beautiful and romantic villages of Portugal, in which you can enjoy its pastry walking through its historic center. Go down the mountain to the north and visit one of the most prestigious and ancient Portuguese winery to taste exclusive wines planted in sandy soils.

Day 3 | - -
In the morning drive to Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal. Be delighted with a moliceiro tour, a typical vessel of Aveiro lagoon, and visit Aveiro’s natural salt lagoon, where even nowadays its ancient techniques are used. In this tour full of impacting water surfaces you can also observe different bird’s species. Delight yourself with the fantastic pastry of Aveiro during a visit to a space exclusively dedicated to local pastry, where you can understand the production process and also taste these typical specialties.
In the afternoon drive to Oporto and go for walk in the historic center, always with the best gastronomic suggestions and other tips, described in "Portugal B’side guidebook ".

Day 4 | - - Ponte de Lima -
In the morning drive to Viana do Castelo, a beautiful historic city with superb views of Lima River and the north shore. Walk through downtown and enjoy the cultural richness, always relying in our best suggestions for each location.
Then, in a short dislocation, reach Ponte de Lima for lunch. Also, go through the center of this medieval town that will make you understand some of the origins of Portuguese gastronomy.
Later, on your way to Braga city, you will have the opportunity to meet some wine producing techniques used for the production of exceptional Portuguese wines, in a visit to a winemaking property, where beside wines you can also taste some local specialties.

Day 5 | - -
In Braga, enjoy the opportunity to wander through a city with over 2000 years of history. After visiting the fantastic historic center, you will be presented with a guided visit to a winemaking farm where you will certainly sharpen your wine knowledge, and taste some local products.
Later proceed to Guimarães, a city that will leave you amazed at all levels. After a tour through this historic city, enjoy getting to know the local gastronomy and the superb landscapes that the city has to offer.
At the end of the day return to the Oporto city.

Day 6 | - Douro River -
Enjoy what the beautiful Oporto city of has to offer in a day full of emotions, sensations and flavors. During this day you will also tour through the beautiful Douro River estuary and be amazed by its grapevines slopes and wonderful views over Oporto city, in an unforgettable cruise tour.
Enjoy also the opportunity to refine further more your wine knowledge, during a visit to a winery of Port Wines.
To end this day we recommend a great dinner to the sound of Fado, the Portuguese music style elevated to the status of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Day 7 | -
Start the day towards Vila Real and get to know a wine producing farm, to taste some wine and local products. At this moment your oenological culture already gathers diverse experiences and flavors that will turn you a true connoisseur.
Choose one of the suggestions in our "Guidebook" for your lunch. Relax and feel in total harmony with the environment that surrounds you.
After arriving to Vila Real, enjoy a stroll through the center to contemplate the history that still remains at this place or just enjoy its traditional pastry. Then visit the Mateus Palace, built in the 18th century, that will take you on a journey into the past.

Day 8 | - Pinhão - Peso da Régua
In the morning, head south toward Pinhão. On the way you will have the opportunity to visit a fantastic wine producing farm and other regional products, located on the River Douro. Apart from the wine tasting and superb lunch, enjoy also a relaxing walk through the farm with many activities to offer. Then go to the pretty Pinhão village, considered the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region and be surprised with the fantastic surrounding landscape of unique beauty, surrounded by lush nature, with the Douro River as companion and its manor houses and farms that attest the wealth that Port Wine granted to the region.
Later on go to Peso da Régua in a lovely road that winds alongside the River Douro with superb wine-growing landscapes.

Day 9 | Peso da Régua - Lamego -
Start the day with a cultural morning in a visit to a Douro’s wines Museum, to understand better the origins, concerns, value and uniqueness of the Douro region and its wine products.
Then go to Lamego where you will be amazed by the beauty of this historic city. Stroll through downtown and discover relevant monuments on every corner or street. Later visit an international wine cellar. Again follow the Portugal B’side suggestions for the best choice of restaurants and typical local dishes.
In the afternoon drive to Viseu and stroll through its well-preserved historical center. Also enjoy local crafts.
Overnight in Viseu.
Day 10 | - Seia -
In the morning head to Seia. On the way you will have the opportunity to meet a house dedicated to the production and selling of wines. Arriving at Seia, visit a Museum of bread making and understand the manufacturing processes of this food in an ancient technique and characteristic of the Portuguese people.
Be delighted with the local specialties you will have for lunch. Afterwards, visit a farm in the region with wine, cheese and bread production, and continue to absorb the Portuguese gastronomic culture. In the afternoon, head back to Viseu.

Day 11 | - Luso -
In the morning head to Luso, where you will have the opportunity to visit a specialized wine cellar and taste some wines before lunch. Enjoy the fact that you are in the place known as the best in suckling pig confection ant taste the famous Leitão assado à Bairrada (roast suckling pig).
In the afternoon drive to Lisbon. To end your trip in great style, Portugal B’side can organize and book a dinner at a Fado house.
